Payment

Volunteer Veterinary Hospital strives to provide the best veterinary care for your pets.  In order to maintain our standard of care, we have adopted the following payment policies.

Payment is Due When Services Are Rendered.

We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.  We no longer provide lines of credit through our hospital.  Deposits are required on more in-depth cases.  After hour emergency fees apply.

If for some reason credit is extended, you will be required to complete a Payment Agreement Form.  There will be an 18% APR applied to all balances.  This will be accessed on a monthly basis.  If a payment is not received within 30 days, a letter will be sent informing you that the balance mus be paid immediately.  If no payment is remitted within 60 days, our attorney will inform you of collection proceedings.  At that time, the client will be responsible for all billing fees, all penalties, all collection fees, and all attorney fees in the maximum state law will allow.

A $20 return check fee will be assessed to all returned checks.  You will be notified by phone that the check was returned.  There will be a 7 day grace period before all checks are turned over to our attorney for collection.  Again, at that time the client will be responsible for all billing fees, all penalties, all collection fees, and all attorney fees the maximum state law will allow.
